We were sent out to a home in Montgomery, NJ, to add some new blown-in cellulose insulation to the attic. The customer has owned the home for over 35 years and hasn't been up to his attic in over 15 years! Since almost all of the fiberglass insulation was falling apart, dirty, and no longer efficient, the first thing we did was take all of it out of the attic and dispose of it properly! Nest, we disinfected the entire attic from top to bottom. Afterward, we added our makers, to ensure that the proper amount of R-value is added to the attic, and then added over 10 inches of TruSoft blown-in cellulose insulation.
