We were relocating and suddenly had to deal with the seller's nightmare - just as everything was packed and the movers left we discovered a small flood in the basement. It turned out that the check valve on the drain line from the sump pump had gone bad (in a two-year old house no less!) and water (basically overflow from the AC unit) was being pumped into the basement instead of outside. To make matters worse it was 3 PM on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and no one was available. We contacted Pipe Works Services which was able to free up one of its plumbers to come to the house, quickly diagnose the problem and just as quickly fix it with quality parts (unlike the junk the builder's plumber had installed just two years ago) The plumber was courteous, friendly and most importantly, knowledgeable and skilled. Pipe Works Services turned out to be reliable and efficient as well as understanding and willing to go the extra mile to solve a problem that, while relatively minor, could have been a disaster for us in closing on the sale. We heartily recommend Pipe Works Services for any plumbing and AC needs.
