The response time and work done was great. But the bill was $818 + tax. Materials were around $150. Add the dispatch fee, although one would think that would be included. That leaves around $580 for labor. The technician told me I was being charged for 4 hours labor, meaning labor rate is around $145/hour! Even if there were 6 billable hours, that's almost $100/hour. That seems a bit much.
