AfterThis single family home in Market Common was built in 2003. This home had blown insulation that was up to code (code means the minimum). Carolina Energy Conservation took out the old insulation and removed it from the property. We then came in to blow in new cellulose insulation. This insulation is made of recycled newspapers and treated with a special chemical that keeps the bugs and critters away. Before the new insulation was blown in the team sealed all of the can lights and electrical penetrations.
