Scott explained everything very thoroughly and was an absolute pleasure to work with on assessing my project.
What did they learn that was most surprising:
First, that an attic vent (previously recommended to me by someone else) would not solve the 3rd floor summer heat problem because as it exhausted air it would simply cause more air to pull into the house. Second, I figured the attic insulation was bad, but I was surprised at the extent of the terrible shape the attic is in.
