A homeowner in Greenwich, CT had existing insulation in their attic that was causing their home to be energy inefficient. They decided it was time to call us at Dr. Energy Saver of CT to help solve their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Keith Saunders, went out to the home to assess the issues.
Then it would be time for one of our Foremen, Rudy Abel, and his team to work on this project. They installed an insulated catwalk so that this attic can be used for storage and be easily accessible. Then the crew blew in TruSoft Cellulose insulation. This would act as a thermal barrier to the home, regulating the temperature properly. Now this home will be energy efficient and the customer can watch their energy bill decrease!
A homeowner in Stamford, CT had old fiberglass insulation in their attic that they wanted replaced to ensure their home is energy efficient. We sent out one of our Salesmen, Steve Machnicz, to the home to assess the attic and propose our blown-in cellulose as the new, permanent solution.
Soon after it would be time for one of our Foremen, Rudy, and his crew to install this job. They removed the old insulation and then they installed an insulated storage deck to allow easy access in the attic. Then they did some air sealing in necessary areas, and finally blew in our TruSoft cellulose insulation. It is superior to fiberglass and instantly will make the home more energy efficient.
Now the homeowner is happy knowing they are not losing any air through the attic and the temperatures in their home are regulated!
A homeowner located in Stamford, CT expressed interest in improving his crawlspace's insulation. With old fiberglass insulation hanging from the subfloor and floor joists, the homeowner expressed issues with cold floors during winter months. To remedy his concerns, he reached out to the experts at Dr. Energy Saver for assistance.
Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Jimmy Stablein, scheduling a free in-home consultation. Shortly after, Stablein arrived at the home, mapping out the crawlspace and offering potential solutions. Following his visit, Stablein assembled a proposal documenting his suggestions for how to improve the crawlspace's insulation situation.
Ultimately, the homeowner landed on spray foam insulation. Offering better insulation properties, spray foam insulation features a better R-value (measure of the effectiveness of insulation) than traditional fiberglass insulation and fills gaps and cracks by expanding into areas it's sprayed.
Shortly after, Foreman Jony Fernandez and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. After a quick install, the crawl space was returned to the homeowner with better insulation properties! The homeowner no longer has to worry about chilly floors in the winter.

Then the next step would be for one of our Foremen, Rudy Abel, and his crew to get to work on this attic project. They installed a storage deck with dams for this space to be used for storage and easily accessible. Then the crew blew in TruSoft Cellulose insulation throughout the attic. This will act as a thermal barrier to the home, regulating the home's temperature. Now this home will be comfortable all year round and become energy efficient.
A homeowner in Stamford, CT had a crawlspace that was poorly insulated and was very musty. They made the right decision when they decided to call us at Dr. Energy Saver of CT. After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales Consultants, Keith Saunders, went out to the home to estimate the issues and propose a solution.
Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Rudy Abel, and his team to get working on this project. To insulate the crawlspace, they installed SilverGlo along the walls. This reflects heat into the crawlspace to ensure energy efficiency. TerraBlock insulation was also installed on the floors of the crawlspace to protect it from moisture but also keep it properly insulated. For extra moisture/vapor protection, the crew installed CleanSpace. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was put in to prevent moisture and dampness, but also from any potential mold growth.
