A beautiful transformation for this 20-year-old roof in Bolton, CT with a full Klaus Larsen Roofing System! An important part of the Klaus Roofing Way, our team inspects the attic space to identify any structural problems and molding. We first replaced any damaged plywood, including over the attic vent, and renailed the existing decking with Ring Shank Nails, a higher quality nail that is a cross between a nail and a screw and won't come out in high winds. We then laid down our Klaus Laresn Roofing SealoronXT Ice & Water self-sealing membrane to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection, we installed our own Velora One Underlayment, a high performance synthetic underlayment designed to protect the home in even the most severe weather.
