Tim, a homeowner in Coventry, CT, decided it was time for a fresh start with his roof—which was covered in rubber. Looking for a reliable solution and a new look, he reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing to explore his options. After meeting with our Sales Inspector and going over all the details, Tim decided to upgrade to shingles and add a unique pop of color. He selected IKO Dynasty shingles in Monaco Red, a bold choice that not only enhances curb appeal but is built to withstand the harshest weather with a 130 MPH wind warranty. This means Tim won’t have to worry about any shingles coming loose during New England's intense storms.
To ensure ultimate protection, our crew carefully removed the existing rubber roofing down to the plywood decking. Then, we applied a layer of SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield, SealoronXT Deck Tape to tape the plywood boards securely, and VeloraOne Roof Underlayment to prevent leaks. Together, these layers create a durable, leak-resistant barrier, keeping Tim’s home safe and dry in any weather.

John in Coventry, CT, needed a reliable solution for his aging roof, which included both a shingled section and a low-slope area. Over time, wear and tear had taken a toll, and it was time for an upgrade. We started by removing the old materials and replacing any of the damaged roof deck, ensuring a solid foundation for the new installation. For the main roof, we installed IKO Dynasty Froststone shingles, giving the home a refreshed and polished look. Since part of the roof was low-slope, we used Polyglass, a durable roofing material designed for superior waterproofing. Now, John’s home is fully protected with a high-quality roofing system built to last. The Klaus Roofing Way!
Here was a gorgeous Colonial home in Salem, CT. We installed our Roofing System, complete with new chimney flashing and aluminum gutters with guards and vent pipe boots. The fascia overhang was also revamped with PVC trim boards, which are fully recyclable and optimum for environmental health & sustainability when compared to wood and stucco. Finally, we installed a thermostat-controlled solar fan, so that the homeowner can keep a close eye on their attic temperature and how effectively it is being ventilated.
Here we had a charming lake house on Columbia Lake. The view made this job quite a treat.
This cape-style home in Columbia, Connecticut was in desperate need of a new roof. We began by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials and replacing 5 sheets of plywood decking. To protect the home from any outside moisture, we installed 3 rows of Weatherlock G Ice & Water Barrier near roof valleys, eaves, chimneys etc. For new shingles we used Brownwood asphalt shingles. Further, we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney with new lead flashing. This stylish roof can now handle any weather condition, worry free!
