This charming cape-cod style house was in need of a new Owens Corning Roofing System. The existing shingles on this home were single-tabbed shingles, which are less thick than architectural shingles so they need to be replaced sooner. We stripped the old shingles and sent them to an asphalt recycling center to be recycled into new roads. We then replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from outside elements. For new shingles, we used TurDefiniton Duration Shingles by Owens Corning in the color Quarry Gray. These homeowners can sleep well knowing they not only recycled their old roof but got a new durable, warrantied roof that will last them years and years.
