Customer had an inadequate amount of insulation in the attic. We topped the attic with new Cellulose Insulation.
The homeowner called to get new insulation installed into their attic, our solution was to vacuum out the old insulation, air seal all of the penetrations in the in the attic floor
The homeowner originally called us because mold was found on the attic sheathing and trusses during the home inspection when they bought the house. After our inspection and questioning the homeowner it was brought out that the home was also very uncomfortable upstairs and that all the rooms upstairs were cold during the winter.
Our customer was having a new roof placed for his home and the roofer noted his attic has mold. Our inspection concluded mold was on the trusses and sheathing of the attic. Our company remediated using Mold X2 products and installing all new baffles in the soffits once cleared of any debris.
Our realtor referred our customer to inspect this attic for a home inspection was done and a mold substance was found in the attic. Our company came in and remediated the mold and replaced all baffles using single wide baffles. We used Mold X2 and Mold X2 Botanical product. The home sale proceeded and both seller and buyer were happy with the cleaned attic.
