We at Cowleys are ecstatic to welcome Wayne Johnson as our newest Pest Control Technician! Wayne joined Cowleys in May 2023 and has been in the pest control industry for over 6 years! He is a licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator and has a number of Category certifications including 7A certification for general and household pest control! As soon as Wayne stepped into our office for an interview, he had a professional demeanor and a "can do" attitude. He was tired of feeling like a number at other pest control companies and wanted to work at a more family-run company.

In his spare time, Wayne loves to train at the gym and is an avid surfer. He must be after living in Hawaii for the past 20 years!

Once the worker ants come in contact with either of these products, they will return to their nest and transfer the treatments to the other ants in their colony as well as their reproductive queen. A short while later, the ants will be exterminated.
As you can tell, there was quite a large infestation of boxelder bugs all over the front entrance of her home.
Not only did we find adult cockroaches and their nymphs throughout the kitchen, but their eggs too! We advised the owner to throw away every single infested perishable item, to which she agreed. Once she finished, we treated the cracks, corners, and crevices of the pantries and the entire kitchen with a residual application that's combined with an EPA registered insect growth regulator. This application affects the reproductive system of the cockroaches, which prevents them from reaching adulthood.

Once we're finished, we're going to inject a liquid termiticide into the drill holes in the basement and around the entire exterior of the home. This treatment binds to the treated areas and creates a protective zone that the termites can't detect.
Afterward, we treated the entire exterior of the home with a liquid residual. Next, we treated the grassy areas around the property with a granular bait.
The termite swarmers are the winged adult reproductives in which the colonies send out in search of a hospitable area. Unlike other termites in a colony, swarmers are attracted to light. They want to be outside in the bright sun, not inside the dim interior of a home or business.
