This home in Johnson City, NY needed updated insulation in the attic.
To the existing 3 inches of fiberglass already in place, we added 12 inches of blown in cellulose. This will vastly improve the insulation, which will vastly improve the comfort of the home.
This was a very straight forward project insulating a new construction shed in Johnson City, NY.
2 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the walls and ceiling of the shed. This shed is now ready to be finished.

Seen here is the home's rim joist. This is an area with a lot of air leakage. We sprayed it with 2 inches of closed cell foam. It is now sealed and will no longer be a source of air leakage.

We removed the old fiberglass, air sealed the attic and did an open blow of 14 inches of cellulose insulation. The attic is now well insulated and the home will be more comfortable as a result.
