This home in Binghamton, NY needed insulation in the attic.
First, the old insulation was removed and the attic was air sealed. 14 inches of cellulose insulation was then blown in, which will improve the comfort of the home and help reduce energy usage.
The basement of this home in Chenango Forks, NY needed insulation.
4 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed on the foundation walls, which will reduce drafts and help make the home more comfortable.
This rim joist was extremely leaky from having no insulation. Spray foam was applied to correct the problem and drastically reduce air leakage.
TruSoft Insulation was suggested for these exterior walls in order to make the home more comfortable for the homeowners. The interior of the walls were finished so this solution was the best way to keep the home in the original finished condition while still being able to add insulation to the walls.
The home in these pictures was very cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It was also very drafty. We suggested to insulate the attic with Spray Foam Insulation in order to fix these problems for the homeowner.
