This was a new construction job in Thompson, PA.
We sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and 2 inches to the exterior walls. Once the rest of the work is done, this will be a comfortable energy efficient home.
The fiberglass that was originally installed in this attic located in Windsor New York was doing next to nothing, besides holding dirt and allergens inside the home. Our crews removed the fiberglass, air sealed the attic properly, and installed Tru-Soft insulation. A permanent solution to an expensive and uncomfortable problem.
This new construction project was pretty simple. We could clearly see that there was no insulation in the walls because they were unfinished walls. So we proposed spray foam insulation for all of the exterior walls. Because the walls were open, we were able to do the work from the inside instead of the outside.

These customers had just purchased a home that had fiberglass insulation that was very moldy and condensation that kept accumulating in one corner. They wanted to see what could be done. They removed all of the moldy fiberglass insulation and laid down a barrier themselves. This attic was air sealed, then cellulose was blown into the attic.
