A homeowner in North Lewisburg, OH, contacted us to request a quote for replacing the roof on her home, as well as upgrading the attic insulation. The roof, currently tin and showing significant age, covers a 1.5-story portion of the house and its porches. While she hasn’t decided between asphalt or metal roofing, she is leaning toward a durable and stylish solution. In addition to the roof, the attic insulation in the 1.5-story section needs attention due to the presence of bat droppings and deteriorated materials.
The proposed project includes the removal of the existing tin roof, as well as any metal shakes. We will replace the roof with Dynasty Architectural Shingles in Monaco Red, which provide a tear-resistant Armour Zone strip, larger nailing surface, and Fastlock sealant for maximum protection. These shingles come with a 130 MPH wind warranty and are both heavy-duty and visually striking. For the porch roofs, we’ll apply a full layer of ice and water shield for added protection. Additional work includes installing 100 linear feet of flashing and counter flashing and replacing the 1/6 x 20 rakes with PVC board.
On the attic insulation side, we will remove the existing batted insulation, disinfect the area to address the bat droppings, and install new insulation to improve the home’s energy efficiency. This comprehensive overhaul will leave the homeowner with a cleaner, safer, and better-protected living space.

The homeowner recently purchased a modular home and quickly noticed a leak in the roof. With the roof over 10 years old and made of asphalt shingles, it was clear that a full replacement was needed to prevent further damage. Along with the home, the roof on the garage also required replacement, as both were showing signs of wear and age. A homeowner recently contacted Klaus Roofing Systems of Ohio after discovering a leak in the roof of her modular home, which she had just purchased. The roof was over 10 years old, and she requested a complete replacement. In addition to replacing the roof on her modular home, she also wanted the roof on her garage replaced. Both roofs had asphalt shingles that needed an upgrade.
Our team inspected the roofs and confirmed the need for full replacements. After removing the old, worn shingles, we installed brand-new, durable asphalt shingles on both the modular home and the garage, ensuring a proper seal to prevent any future leaks. The homeowner also opted to have her gutters updated, and we installed a Raindrop gutter system to further protect her home from water damage.
With both roofs and the new gutter system in place, the home was fully restored. The customer was pleased with the outcome, noting the clean, finished look of the roofs and the additional protection provided by the Raindrop system.
