Problem: Many people wonder, “How invasive is your basement waterproofing system?”
That depends on if the basement is finished and to what degree… of course, if the basement is finished and you’ve experienced water penetration, then likely you’ve also been frustrated by the damage it’s caused.
Solution: In this example, you can see how adding a floor drain as part of the basement waterproofing system does not affect the look or functionality of this basement – and typically, the work is completed within 2 days.

All too often we visit homes damaged by flooding. We understand the frustration of living in a home prone to water intrusion and how it affects the overall enjoyment of the home.
We are the experts of “All Things Basementy” and fix on average 25 homes a week! With our system, homeowners don’t fear the next big storm. They know their basement will stay dry and healthy.
We were pleased to help these homeowners in Point Edward permanently fix their leaky basement.
Problem: This wet crawl space was causing problems for these homeowners in southwestern Ontario. The humid and moist environment caused their traditional fiberglass insulation to fall and become ineffective. Their entire home smelled musty as the odours from the crawl space affected their entire home.
Solution: We sealed off the outside environment which was causing the humid crawl space environment, encapsulating it with our heavy duty CleanSpace® Liner.
For improved comfort and better energy efficiency, we also used Spray Foam Insulation.
What a difference!

Problem: This century-old home had the challenge of mixed foundation types as well as varying levels. The basement leaked even during moderate rainfall which caused excess humidity and all the problems associated with an excessively humid environment.
Solution: With our interior waterproofing process, we were able to successfully and permanently fix this leaky basement. We waterproofed the leaking walls, improved the drainage in the space and also installed a sump pump more than capable of helping to keep the basement dry.
Problem: An unfinished cold storage area is a great place to store items to keep cool, such as canned food, even in the warm summer months. Although closed off from the rest of the house, if there’s water penetrating any area, it creates a damp, humid and unhealthy environment which affects the entire home in what is known as “The Stack Effect”.
Solution: We installed a French drain system on the problem walls in the cold storage area, added a powerful sump pump with a battery backup for improved drainage and reliability and finished it off with our BrightWall® rigid basement wall system. Now this cold storage area is dry, heathy and will look fantastic for years to come.
