Problem: Cold floors, high utility bills and a musty smell throughout the home prompted this homeowner to contact us for help.
Solution: Our team of crawl space specialists removed the old, wet and ineffective fiberglass and rigid insulation, and sealed off the crawl space against the heat/cold cycle which effects the crawl space air (and makes the home smell musty due to mould and mildew growth). Our installers finished off the job with Spray Foam Insulation.
Spray foam insulation is one of the newest and most-advanced types of insulation available. More and more home and business owners are choosing to have spray foam insulation installed because of its unique properties.
Unlike fiberglass and other “fluffy” insulation materials, Spray Polyurethane Foam can’t be damaged by moisture. Once installed, spray foam won’t ever fall out of place or lose its R-value because of compression like fiberglass can.
This homeowner will now enjoy improved comfort and lower utility bills!
Problem: This tight and musty area under the home was starting to cause mould growth on the wood supports. Wood is everywhere inside a home and if it begins to rot due to high humidity and moisture, it can be a very costly repiar. We needed to get to work here right away!
Solution: We cleaned out all the debris of this small space. Then we installed our Clean Space Encapsulation System (the white liner). Once that was installed, our crew came in and spray foam insulated the headers (above the foundation wall where a lot of air leaks get in). The space is now safe and healthy.

This home was inspected by Cory Lahey. He saw the home needed help in a variety of areas within the crawl space. Our crew went out and installed products to allow this homeowner the ability to have a safe, dry and comfortable crawl space area.
Challenge: Access doors or open vents in a crawl space is one of the areas where the outside environment enters and affects an entire home.
Solution: A sealed crawl space access is one of the many things we do when encapsulating a crawl space. We also installed a well for improved access and drainage.
Challenge: This crawl space could be described as “high and dry”... but the dirt floor and lack of insulation on the exterior walls made the home’s floor cold during the winter months.
Solution: We completely sealed the crawl space from the outside environment, and added spray foam insulation. Spray foam offers a high R-value, sealing air leaks and also serving as a moisture barrier.
