Insulating a Cape Cod Home Nazareth, PA

Recently we were called upon by a young couple in Nazareth, PA who were looking for a way to make their "Cape Cod" style home more comfortable. By design, these types of homes have a tendency to be very hot in the summer and expensive to heat in the winter. The good news is we have fixed dozens of homes like these and we know exactly how to get the best results. For this home the best solution was to spray insulate the back of the short walls on the second floor, dense pack the ceiling and loose fill the small attic area's with cellulose and spray insulate the roof in one small storage area. Now this home is much more comfortable and far more efficient year round!

Crawlspace Encapsulation in Stroudsburg, PA

Burke Home Services was contacted by Poplar Valley Methodist Church in Stroudsburg, PA to evaluate some concerns the members had with the crawlspace. Years ago a contractor came along and spray insulated the floor joists under the entire church, this helped with the insulation but did nothing to correct the moisture problems underneath. In fact, it made it worse. Burke Construction utilized the CleanSpace system along with spray insulation, properly applied to the foundation walls, to seal and eliminate the moisture problems! We also sealed and taped all the ductwork in the newly encapsulated crawlspace to reduce duct leakage. The members said the noticed a difference immediately!

Pole Barn Insulation- Newfoundland Pa

We recently completed an insulation project on a brand new pole barn in Newfoundland, Pa. During construction of the sturcture, the customer contacted us after researching insulation options for his new building. He decide closed cell spray insulation was going to be his best choice. We applied 2" of closed cell polyurethane insulation to the walls, and 3" to the ceiling. Now this building will be quiter, stronger and far more comfortable to use for the life of the building. Spray insulation is the key to a properly sealed and insulated pole barn.
