Mrs. Shaw reached out to Fortenberry Roofing Co. due to her soaring energy bill and an air conditioning system that seemed to run non-stop. Despite installing solar panels to offset costs, she wasn't seeing any savings. To address her concerns, Miguel from Fortenberry Roofing scheduled a complimentary attic inspection to identify the root of the problem. Upon assessment, he pinpointed key issues and quickly organized a skilled crew to implement the necessary solutions.
Crew leader Leo V. and Technician Hector, the team installed an average of 6 inches of high quality cellulose insulation in the main living areas, achieving the optimal R-38 insulation value. Leo also addressed previously installed can light covers that were improperly fitted, ensuring they were securely replaced. In the garage, the crew added an average of 3 inches of cellulose insulation, also reaching the target R-38 Value.
Hector had a crucial role sealing open areas with Silver Glo insulation and applying fire-retardant foam to enhance air sealing throughout the space.
Mrs. Shaw was delighted to feel significant improvement in her home's comfort levels. She was relieved and satisfied that she chose Fortenberry Roofing Company to meet her roofing and insulation needs.
The customer in Clovis, New Mexico reached out to Fortenberry Roofing Co. due to significant issues with a leaking roof, which had been causing considerable stress and disruption in their daily life. Miguel, a roofing expert, was dispatched for the earliest appointment and conducted a thorough inspection of the roof. The inspection revealed that the roof was in dire need of repairs. Miguel outlined a comprehensive plan, including the re-welding of open seams and laps on the TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) roof, sealing and adding pipe clamps, and addressing the damaged plywood and framing where the roof met the wall. He removed and disposed of the damaged materials, rebuilt the framing with 2x4s, and installed new plywood, followed by sheet metal to match the existing Colony Green color. Additionally, Miguel installed the customer-supplied rake with seal tape. On the metal roof, he removed a 4x4 section, applied an ice and water membrane, and reskinned the area with R-panels. Any worn-out screws were replaced with new ones featuring washers for improved grip and lap integrity. Lastly, Miguel installed an 8-foot vent cap, ensuring the roof was fully functional and secure. The thorough repairs restored the integrity of the roof, providing the customer with much-needed relief from their roofing concerns.
