Weirton WV Mold Remediation from basement rafters

This residential Weirton basement had mold that was affecting the value and safety of the home.

This home was vacant for more than six months. Uncontrolled humidity caused severe basement mold. The realtor referred the owners to us to remove the mold. The entire basement was cleaned and mold removed by our Certified Mold Remediation Team. The end result was a safe, clean dry basement!

Weirton WV Knee Wall Insulation

This Weirton, WV home has a poorly insulated knee wall, causing drafts and high energy bills. Home Environment Solutions insulated the walls with Silver-Glo, making it more efficient and a lot more attractive.

Weirton WV Attic Insulation and Storage Solution

Owner John K. of Weirton, WV called us to improve the comfort in the upstairs of his home and he wanted to use his attic for additional storage.

Certified Comfort and Energy Specialist Mark O. designed a solution to improve the comfort and provide storage.

Foreman Mike Y. and his team air sealed the attic and properly insulated with cellulose insulation to R60 for optimum results. In addition, we built a large storage area in the attic using SilverGlo and plywood. The stairs from the living area to the attic were framed and covered with a David Lewis Hatch Cover to prevent the hostile air from the attic from entering the living environment. In the basement the team insulated the rim joist with SilverGlo insulation and foam insulation.

The owner was very pleased with the storage and has noticed a big difference in comfort.

Weirton WV Basement Mold

This customer clearly had a mold problem.  A broken steam pipe caused this mess.  Mark O. and his Mold Remediation team to the rescue! If left unattended this dangerous variety of mold would have caused rot and health concerns for this home owner.  Problem fixed and Mold Remediated, another awesome job by Home Environment Solutions.

Weirton WV Moldy Wood Paneling

This Weirton homeowner contacted Home Environment Solutions when they noticed mold growing on wood paneling in their basement.  Rain water leaked through the foundation onto the concrete floor and was wicked up by the wood paneling. Moisture and organic materials (wood) is the recipe for mold.  If this homeowner didn't contact Home Environment Solutions when they did, this wood paneling would've rotted and needed replaced. The baseboard had to be removed, rot had already started.
