The owners of this Binghamton, NY home wanted to finish their attic.

We were brought in to do the insulation.  We sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and 2 inches to the gable walls.  Once it is finished, this room will be comfortable and energy efficient.

There was some storage in the attic that was removed by the homeowner.  Once that was done, we air sealed the attic and did an open blow of 14 inches of cellulose insulation.  The attic is now much better insulated and the living space below is much more comfortable.

As part of a larger project, we insulated the attic.  After air sealing, 14 inches of cellulose insulation was blown in.  Taken with the other portions of this project, this will make the house much more comfortable and have a large impact on energy usage.

We sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and gable walls which will alleviate the icicle issues and will also help keep the rooms below more comfortable.

The existing fiberglass was removed.  The attic was air sealed.  We then sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and gable ends.  This home is now much better insulated and it will last for years to come.
