Skylights in Creswell, OR Attic Sealed and Insulated with Spray Foam Insulation

After can lights, sky lights are bad for losing air you paid to heat. This Creswell, OR home’s skylight has the usual metal sleeve that hardly does any insulating. (see BEFORE photo) The air you pay to heat in the winter easily escapes in to your attic. In the summer, hot air comes down into the home from sky lights.

Our crew spray foamed over the skylights (see AFTER photo) before they then blew in new cellulose insulation in their attic. With the sky lights insulated, plus the new cellulose, these homeowners will be much more comfortable in all seasons.

She chose to encapsulate under her home (see After photo) to prevent mold from growing again. She also had us install the SaniDry CX air handling system, the SmartSump sump pump, and a full drainage system.

Forest Grove, OR Attic Missing Insulation Now Well Insulated

This couple bought this Forest Grove, OR house recently and had all the fiberglass insulation in the attic removed. They were ready for a different contractor to re-insulate it.

Our insulation team started by air sealing the attic. This seals the holes and gaps between walls and framing that are notorious places for air to leak from inside the warm home to inside a cold attic. The then blew in TruSoft cellulose insulation to the R-49 level. Both of these solutions together instantly made a difference in their comfort inside their new home.
