To prepare this home for sale, the owner wanted to have the old aluminum windows replaced before doing more work on the outside to make it have more “curb appeal.” Our crew removed the old windows and installed new Simonton Verona-style vinyl windows.
Cellulose Insulation in Attic Helps Homeowner to Sell House
This Toldeo, OR homeowner needed better insulation in the attic to get the house up to code to help sell the house. Our Energy Consultant found old, inefficient fiberglass in the attic (see BEFORE photo). In some areas, it wasn't even rolled out!
Our insulation crew blew in TruSoft cellulose to the R-49 level to meet code for attic insulation. (see AFTER photo) The house was then put on the market.
Underfloor of Vacation Home Near Neotsu, OR Spray Foamed For Warmer Floors
The owners of this vacation home near Neotsu, OR wanted the floors to be warmer and were glad to get a proposal from us as we offer different insulation options. They chose to use the longer-term solution of spray foam.
The added benefit is that spray foam fills in cracks and air seals the floor so the cold air cannot enter the home through the floor, and rodents do not like to chew into it.

See the BEFORE photo--insulation on the ground doesn't do you any good! He hired our company to remove the old insulation and then air seal and insulate the floor simultaneously with closed-cell spray foam insulation (see AFTER photo). Our crew also replaced the vapor barrier with a new 6-mil black plastic one.
His floors will be much more comfortable to walk on in the winter.
Old, Ineffective Insulation Replaced in Attic on Oregon Coast
The insulation in the attic of this coastal Oregon home was old and quite inadequate—it was almost like having nothing up there at all!
Our insulation crew removed the old insulation so critters did not have a place to nest. (Rats and mice love to live in fiberglass.) They then blew in TruSoft cellulose. This creates a warm blanket in the attic to keep in the air the homeowner is paying to heat, plus animals do not like to nest in blown-in cellulose.
