Problem: This home had evidence of a leaky basement. Concrete is porous and over time, water can work its way in and cause damage.
Solution: We installed a perimeter drain in the floor along the problem basement walls. We also installed the ThermalDry® Wall system. As moisture and water passes through concrete foundation walls, the ThermalDry® Wall systems serves as both a vapour barrier and as a way to redirect water leaking into the newly installed drainage system below.

Problem: These home owners contacted Advanced Basement Systems to improve their crawl space environment for the benefit and health of the entire home. The access area was unlevel, often wet and not properly enclosed.
Solution: With crawl space accesses, there are two important points to remember:
Our team did a great job improving this access area for ease of entry and to seal off the outside environment from the crawl space.

Note* Basement Systems sump pump was recommended.
Problem: This home's basement seeped water in and did not have an efficient sump pump. There was carpet directly on the concrete slab.
Solution: We installed a perimeter footing drain, a sump pump system with our battery backup, Bright Wall panels behind the laundry sink and Everlast Finished Wall System around the bathroom. Thermal Dry tiles were put down to keep the floor warmer and dry!
