"I had the most professional, informative, and honest consultation with Carl from Comfenergy. Despite getting a new HVAC I was still feeling the heat on hot days and 8 insulation contractors advised it was the lack of insulation. Carl did a thorough inspection of my attic showing me where heat was entering the home, took pictures, and and discovered a 3inch gap between the HVAC and the duct work which was ultimately why the upstairs was not getting cool. Carl's presentation was excellent in the sense out of 8 other contractors I actually learned something other than I needed to get to code. Carl was the only one to point out my problem could be something other than insulation. Although my issue was resolved without adding insulation, I will not hesitate to use and recommend Comfenergy on the basis of their presentation, professionalism, and honesty,".

"During this past summer, we experienced very warm temperatures on our second floor and we also had concerns about attic mold due to the high humidity. After researching several contractors, we selected Comfenergy due to their positive reviews, status as aa approved Dominion Electric contractor and helpful phone support.Our actual experience with Comfenergy was consistent with all the positive reviews we read. Once we contacted them, they worked with us to promptly conduct an energy audit and schedule the work once a contract was signed.Throughout the entire process, Comfenergy staff were prompt, highly professional and transparent. Customer review - "They came and assessed our concerns and did an energy inspection to determine where we were losing energy. Our main concern was the third floor and how warm it gets in the summer and no matter how many fans we had running it was still uncomfortable. After Pedro inspected, it was discovered that we were mostly losing energy in the attic and our ducts. They cleaned out our old attic insulation (and dust) and then added a radiant barrier to the attic and sealed our dusts, improving things almost immediately. now the third floor is the same temp as the main level of our townhouse in Reston. Highly recommend Comfenergy!"

To Whom it May Concern:   The temperature was 18 degrees outside when I woke up this morning. Inside, in every room of my house the temperature was 70 degrees.  I live in a very old house where indoor temperatures would hover around 60 degrees under such circumstances in previous years.  I must give thanks to Comfenergy’s Carl for making my house so much more livable.  He provided the  knowledge and advice to help me decide on the best, most cost-effective way to improve insulation and minimize air leakage in my house.  He was so honest, that he dissuaded me from overdoing the insulation “just to be safe”, telling me that his recommendations would suffice.  All I can say is a big THANK YOU to Carl!  I will always be confident in the advice he provides, from home insulation needs to wet basement solutions.
