Attic Insulation in Clinton, MD

This homeowner needed an upgrade for their attic insulation, but wasn't sure if fit within their budget. After we had our Home Comfort Specialist, Charlie, examine the work and talk to them through our multiple financing options, we were able to find the one perfect for them! After all of that was settled, we rushed out to tackle her attic and make her home feel more comfortable! Alfredo and his crew prepped the attic and got it ready for Jason and the Insulation Truck crew to install the new blown-in cellulose insulation. Once it was all finished, the homeowner mentioned how the upstairs had maintained the desired temperature much better since we helped.

Gutter Guard Installation in Waldorf, MD

Chris had called in wondering if we could clean his gutters and install Gutter Guards - of course we can! We sent out Mark, one of our Home Comfort Specialists, to get measurements and pictures and got the ball rolling. Once everything was all set, Paul and Jose arrived at Chris' house to get to work! They started by removing all of the leaves and gunk within the gutters. Once removed, they started to install the Gutter Guards piece by piece. Once they were all laid out and installed, the job was done!

Chris can now enjoy peace of mind in the fall knowing that his gutters wont clog!

Sprinkler Pipe Insulation in Bowie, MD

While we work in attics, it's important to make sure we protect your home while we're making it more efficient. One way we do this is by covering sprinkler pipes with half inch foam board. This way, the insulation won't wear down the pipe, potentially causing issues in the future. By doing this, we ensure the pipe will remain warm and won't freeze as it will be separated from the attic and a part of the conditioned space in the home. Alfredo and his crew did an amazing job covering it up and adding flags in order to mark where the pipe is for those walking in the attic after the cellulose is installed.

Attic Insulation in Bowie, MD

Nic called in saying that he needed his insulation upgraded because it was very old and inefficient. After a quick diagnosis from Ben, our Home Comfort Specialist, he agreed that the insulation was not giving him the R-value that is considered up to code nowadays. So, we sent our team of Home Comfort Technicians to help make Nic's home more comfortable. They start by air sealing and covering recessed lights in order to reduce the amount of air leakage from the home into the attic. After the air seal is completed, they install measure sticks and flags into the recessed light covers in case someone needs to find them to work on the lights in the future. Finally, we install the new cellulose insulation which now brings the R-value to the proper amount.

The homeowner felt the difference right away and appreciated the work we did!

Attic Insulation in Gambrills, MD

Matthew called in wanting to make his house more energy efficient and hoped it would help lower his monthly energy cost. With that, we sent our Home Comfort Specialist, Jonathan, to go and see how we can help! Jonathan recommended installing new blown in cellulose, along with spray foaming some of his HVAC in his attic. His existing insulation was outdated and did not give him the proper R-value for his area and the ductwork was not sealed properly which caused air to leak into the attic. With that recommendation from Jonathan, we sent out our Home Comfort Technicians to properly insulate that attic. We started by air sealing the top plates that run throughout the attic and stapling up baffles in order to help the attic breathe with all the new blown-in cellulose insulation. After we blow in the new insulation to the proper R-value, we spray foam the return boxes of his HVAC system to prevent further air leakage.

Matthew was happy to see his energy bill go down while enjoying better temperatures within his house!
